#3 Wanting something and Achieving something.

We all have desires and goals that we aspire to achieve or accomplish in life. We want to make more money and get rich, we want to get healthy and have a great body, we want healthy relationships and fruitful friendships, and we all want to be skilled at something and do great things in life.

But although the most majority of the people have these desires and goals, only a fraction of those people are the ones who actually do accomplish and achieve the things that they desire. Why does this happen, when both the parties have the same desires, only one party gets to achieve them? What makes them different from the other party?

We know that desire alone or the goal alone won’t make any difference in life. There are some activities that we need to do in order to get to those results and goals. If you want to get rich, you have to get a job that pays you well and do that well or you need to start a business and work hard to make it successful. If you want to get healthy and have a great body, you have to eat good food and workout regularly and patiently. You get the idea, don’t you?

So what basically enables the second party to accomplish the things that they desired is that they not only had desires and goals like the first group but also they were focused on the process which led to those results and did do them well enough.

Wanting something is the easy part, but doing the things that leads to those results is the hardest part and that’s where most people fail in life.

If you have a goal or a desire or something you want to accomplish in life, ask yourself what leads to those results, what is it that I have to do in order to accomplish those things. Once you got your answer, be focused on them and work on them until you succeed.
